Supporting Our Ministry in 2025

God is doing amazing things-
through YOU

God is doing amazing things at First United Methodist Church through you and your generosity.
Everything we do— caring for our growing children and youth ministries, housing families through Faith Family Hospitality, sharing in heart-touching music and worship, and learning and growing together— all of it is possible because of your commitment to this place. That is why we are grateful, committed, and hopeful.

  • Grateful

We are grateful for all that is offered to make this congregation what it is. Your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and the way you live every day, shape who we are. We recognize that our congregation would not be the same without you.

  • Committed

We are committed to continue to live out the teachings of Jesus— love, acceptance, justice, and hope— in ways that make the best use of all that is offered here. We plan our ministry based on the commitments of the congregation— your estimate of giving lets us know what our ministry can look like in the year to come.

To continue growing into the ministries we know we need— especially relationship building, learning opportunities, music, and service to our community— while handling increased costs like utilities and insurance, we need to grow our ministries by $140,000 (from $1.3mil to $1.4mil).  This growth will allow us to support the increased needs and opportunities our leadership has identified as our next steps as a congregation.

  • Hopeful

We are hopeful, that through your prayerful reflection, we can step boldly into all that God has in store for us. Please take time in the weeks to come to: prayerfully consider what God can do through you and your generosity in this place, fill out an estimate of giving card (on this page below) by November 24th

Our “Why”

And as you prayerfully reflect on what God will do through you and your generosity in the year to come, I invite you to think about your “why”
I sat with some folks from the congregation and asked them what they are grateful for here, what they are committed to here, and what they are hopeful for at First Church- this is their “why".”
